Sunday, June 10
Join us for an afternoon in Albany to MARCH in the Albany Pride Parade and then a fun afternoon in Washington Park with entertainment, vendors, tables, kids area, other activities. If the weather is good bring a blanket or your stadium chairs and a picnic!
Carpools from the Bank North Parking lot …
Ann is leaving at 9:15am to check in for our group.. and can take 3 riders.
Sadelle will meet the rest at Bank North at 9:30am… so we can get downtown and get parking in time to line up for the parade. The Parade begins at Noon… we’re guessing the lineup for the march starts around 11. The Parade starts at Sprague and State Streets. If you’re marching, we’ll reconvene there.. if not, Lark Street is a great place to watch.
Driving directions to Albany from Bennington:
Take VT 9 west into NY (NY7 west). Continue thru Troy and take the I-787 exit for Albany and south. 787 south thru Albany to the Madison Avenue exit. Follow Madison Avenue up the hill, past the NY State Museum and start looking for parking AFTER Swan St.. or continue up towards Washington Park, and look for parking near Washington Park.
